Cocktail Roundup: Frosé Season

Tis the season–frosé season.

Let's just say I had a summer where I literally drank nothing more than this grown-up slushie, most memorably at Gurney's in Montauk in what (unbeknownst to me) would be my last single girl summer, since I met my husband later that year. Ahhhh, memories! So if you see me out in the Grove with a slushie in my hand, you can probably bet it's a frosé of my youth. Here in Miami, it's 90 degrees + so it makes sense that The Standard Spa has really perfected the cocktail. And they shared it with Vogue a while back and we're sharing it with you!


Mix the following, toss in a blender, and serve.

3 oz. Citrus Kelvin Blender Slush Mix 1 oz. vodka 1.5 oz. your choice of rosé wine 1 oz. peach puree 0.25 oz. grapefruit juice 1 tsp. prickly-pear puree (for color) - OPTIONAL 1.5 cups ice

Pour into a wine glass like the queen you are and garnish with any fresh fruit. Watermelon slices and a fresh mint sprig are extra credit.
